About this Holiday House
Swim , kayak or gather cockles at the bottom of the garden .
There are very few properties in the Kaiteriteri area that offer you the chance to wander down the lawn and enjoy the total peace and quiet of your own piece of beach.
You are welcome to use the single kayaks, double kayak , 2 standup paddleboards and row boat that are provided. There are also two adult mountain bikes and assorted beach toys like buckets and spades and balls.
There is free WiFi .
Tapu Bay is next door to Stephens Bay and is tidal, which means it is a shallow bay when the tide is in - sheltered from the sea breeze with very safe swimming for children . When the tide is out there are cockles and mussels to harvest, rocks and caves to explore and room to build a million sandcastles.
The Kaiteriteri Mountain bike Park is a beautiful thing and from the Bach it is only 600m to the South Entrance or 1.5km to the Main Entrance.
The Bach is a comfortable 1970's model with a huge amount of deck space capturing all day sun. There is a new bathroom with separate toilet upstairs and another toilet down below for the basement room. Although there are 3-4 bedrooms,( 1 large basement room with the option of a sliding wall divider ) please note that there is no internal access from the basement rooms to the upstairs living area and bathroom.
There are other houses neighbouring the Bach but with the native bush , the birds and the ever changing sea views there is a lovely feeling of seclusion here.
Kaiteriteri Beach is 1.5 km away for boat services to The Abel Tasman National Park , restaurant , small supermarket and boat ramp.
Marahau is 10 km away for walking access to The Abel Tasman track .
