Great place to stay, perfect location, tidy and everything you need.

We absolutely loevd it. The minute we entered the property we felt like at home. The place isn't huge but it is cleverly arraged so that it feels generous and comfy. The garden is big and beautiful and the trees are real characters. The ownerrs put great attention to detail but in an understated kind of way – there are very cool 'old-fashioned' retro details in the house, the way things used to be and they are just part of the everyday functionality of the place – a true Kiwi family bach, simple, comfy, very private and very close to the sea. Enjoyed walking down to Matheson Bay daily. And close enough to Auckland if you must go (which we did). The host Celia is very helpful and great to deal with.. Definitely one to come back to!

Such a lovely bach with everything you could possibly want. Fabulous library and cd collection, lots of board games and puzzles. Fantastic garden with shady trees. Wonderful hosts. Thank you.
