Manata Homestead is perfect for two families to share, 4 couples or small groups. This 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house sleeps up to 10 guests with a choice of Superking or Twin beds in each room and the option of adding up to 2 rollaways. Bedrooms & bathrooms are all upstairs. Downstairs there is a spacious living area, kitchen, large dining area, additional toilet and pool/game room. Daily servicing and no cleaning fee!!

The Homestead at Cape South is a beautiful, graciously designed French colonial-style homestead set within 16 acres of gardens and grounds. It is located within 10 minutes of beautiful sandy beaches and bush reserves, has a swimming pool, spa pool and infrared sauna. There is plenty of room to relax & enjoy the property, while also providing plenty of opportunities for activities & exploring the area. The Homestead accommodation is warm & welcoming, spacious and elegantly appointed, and beautifully furnished in keeping with the style of the house. The heart of the house is a large open plan kitchen, with butlers pantry, a dining table & living area around a wood burner. Through this room is the formal dining room, and beside that a huge formal living room, with lovely comfortable sofas & an open fire. Each of the 6 ensuite rooms are very large and all open onto a generous verandah that surrounds the entire homestead. All are beautifully styled, and very warm & cosy. Some of these beds can be split or joined as required. There are plenty of private spaces with the property, and the homestead lends itself well three-generation family gatherings or the celebration of special occasions with friends. The Cape South Estate includes a magnesium-salt swimming pool, a spa pool, a gym, and an infrared sauna, all which you are welcome to use. There is a separate 2 bedroom cottage beside the homestead, and if this is rented during your stay the facilities will be shared. if you wish for exclusive use of the estate, this can be discussed. There is also a yoga studio on site, which can also be set up as a meeting room. This can be made available at an addition cost. Catering can also be arranged.

Extensive views of Mt Paku and estuary, 2 acre garden, over 70 fruit trees, 300 roses, native gardens, frog enclosure with over 100 native green and brown miniature frogs, Guest garden at back of cottage contains veges, herbs, natives, grapes, apples. feijoas, cocktail kiwifruit, coffee tree, tea tree. Linda was a remote area nurse in Outback Australia in the winter months, and now gardens and swims with her dog Richie. She enjoys meeting the guests. Brian is a semi-retired builder and volunteer fire officer who has just received his gold star for 25 years' service. He loves fishing, diving, flying and enjoys meeting new people. Reopening after covid. We have enjoyed returning guests every year until the pandemic, from Germany, England, Scotland, France and Australia.

We do not offer the option for guests to provide their own linen as we wish to ensure that the mattresses and pillows are always covered with protectors. Bedding configuration is: 1 x Super King (master), 1 x Queen (2nd bedroom), 2x Singles (this is a Split-King and can be made into 1x King bed upon request - 3rd bedroom), 1 x Queen (4th bedroom) + a fold out sofa bed in the separate family room. This home although located semi-rurally is set in a peaceful neighbourhood and is not suitable for loud groups, parties or events.

This 2 bedroom house is situated on the ridge overlooking beautiful, sandy Long Beach which is the best all-tide safe swimming beach in the area. The beach is about a 7 minute walk from Sunrise View. From the large deck you can watch the dolphins and the ever-changing seascape. Russell is situated in NZ's subtropical north and is one of the main gateways to the Bay of Islands. The town offers a rich history with cruises, parasailing, diving, sailing and fishing charters, which depart from Russell wharf only a 10 minute walk away. There are wineries and many restaurants in the area and a golf course is situated across the Bay in Waitangi.

The beach bach at Water's Edge, Bay of Islands is a fully self-contained holiday home situated right on the beach front. The house is an open plan, 4 bedroom holiday home on the water's edge in quiet, sheltered Lemon's Bay, Bay of Islands. The house has expansive views from the living areas and a spacious deck that attracts all day sun. There is an outdoor hot tub / spa pool also with views over the bay and a gas barbecue. The Beach Bach sleeps 8. The king bedroom and one of the two queen bedrooms are located in a separate wing and share a bathroom. The second queen bedroom and bunk bedroom are in the main house where there is a second bathroom. Bed linen, bath and spa/beach towels, kitchen tea-towels, wifi and use of the kayaks and life jackets are included in the nightly rate. The property is close to the Russell car ferry and adjacent to the Opua to Paihia coastal walking track. Come and enjoy our little slice of heaven. Guests are asked to note that as the property is situated on the beachfront parking and turning is limited to guests vehicles only. The property cannot accommodate trailers and boats and has no boat or jet ski launching facilities. There are excellent facilities at the Bay of Islands Marina which is a short 3-minute drive or 10-minute walk from Water's Edge.
