Northern Lodge is standalone, cottage style accommodation as part of 'Valhalla North, set on 1.5 hectares of coastal peninsular in the Hauparua Inlet, 10 km east of Kerikeri, Bay of Islands. Cook's Cottage is a modern Cottage located in the heart of Russell village in the beautiful Bay of Islands - only a 3.5 hour drive from Auckland - a home away from home. – Cook's Cottage is only a short stroll from the waterfront, restaurants and cafes and 2 beaches. The cottage has been built from a traditional timber weatherboard. The interior features solid timber floors in the living area, quality carpet to upstairs area, raked ceilings and is fully appointed to a very high standard. On the ground floor there is an open plan lounge and dining area, both flow out onto a terrace that captures the morning sun – a great place to have breakfast and watch the world go by... There is a fully equipped kitchen, under bench oven and hob, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, a TV, ample seating for 8 guests – there is also a laundry with washing machine and dryer for guest use. A large bedroom leads off the downstairs living area & features a superking bed with ensuite bathroom Bedroom Configuration: 1 superking, 2 queen and 2 single beds. The upstairs area has 3 bedrooms - the master bedroom has a queen bed and has an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet and vanity, bedroom 2 has a queen bed, bedroom 3 has 2 single beds. The main bathroom has a shower over bath, toilet and vanity. An open plan kitchen is set up with a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, hotplates and fully equipped kitchen utensils. The lounge / dining area includes a flat screen TV. The lounge area opens onto a private deck that can be opened onto adjoining units should you be holidaying with friends or family. The Bay Retreat is a beachfront holiday home with views of Tapeka Point Bay and its sandy beach. The Bay Retreat offers access to a safe sandy swimming beach only metres from the house. The bay also has its own boat ramp and a swimming pontoon during summer months.
