Downstairs: Semi-self-contained with a ranch slider from the private patio providing separate entrance from upstairs. Internal stairs too. Kitchenette has a jug, microwave, toaster, crockery and utensils (portable hob and electric frypan may be available on request). Freeview TV. Heater for winter. Two bedrooms - queen (sleeps 2), bunkroom (sleeps 2), living room single (sleeps 1). Bathroom has shower, vanity and toilet. Upstairs alone is also perfect for a smaller family or group. Linen provided but please bring your own beach towels. Washing machine for guests’ use is in the garage. The large garden has fruit trees and heaps of room for kids to play (please note, the property is not fully fenced). Ample parking for cars and boats. Pohara Surf and Turf is situated on a quiet street within easy walking distance of Pohara cafes, bars and restaurants. You are spoilt for choice with things to see and do in Golden Bay and most visitors wish they could stay longer. Enjoy the region’s renowned beaches, quirky shops, great galleries and cafes. The Grove, Labyrinth Rocks and Wainui Waterfall are all within 30 minutes’ drive. Farewell Spit, Wharariki and other scenic treasures are within easy reach and well worth the trip. Hiking, fishing, kayaking, golf - or just sitting back and taking in the view - Pohara is an ideal base for your family adventures! Other points to note: - A cleaning and laundry fee of $200 applies to each booking (fee is $250 for stays 14 December to 9 February). - Water is on tank supply, your help with water conservation is appreciated. - This house is an older style family-friendly bach. Fixtures and fittings are retro, there's the odd mark and scratch on the walls, but everything is clean and functional and comfortable.
