About this Holiday House
This 1960`s Kiwi Bach is situated on a waterfront site in Acacia Bay. The property has riparian rights giving you your own beach in the centre of the bay complete with the use of our mooring 30 metres off the beach directly in front of the bach.
Acacia Bay has a northeasterly aspect providing total shelter from prevailing winds from the south, southwest and west.
This is a truely unique property and one of a handful of properties on the lake with its own beach and mooring facility.
The bach has two levels. The upper level providing two bedrooms, toilet/bathroom (bath), lounge/dining and kitchen. The lower level has a similar layout including two bedrooms, two toilets and two showers, laundry, kitchen and dining area.
The bach layout is well suited to accommodate two families as each level is self contained.
The property receives all day sun from sunrise to late evening sunset. Two large decks make full use of views, sun and shelter. The west facing rear deck is very sheltered and receives the last of the evening sun. This is a warm sunny location.
Views are extensive and varied. Being so close to the water you can not avoid watching and being entertained by the water activites. The public boat ramp is only 75 metres along the beach.
Native trees surround the property attracting special bird life with ducks, swan, heron and gulls in abundance on the lake edge.
There is a small dinghy for your use. Fishing is excellent just metres from the beach.
Acacia Bay is only ten minutes from town, has its own convenience store and a restaurant/bar facility.
Please supply your own linen and towels.
