There are several food places in Kurow, Wild Sage Cafe will deliver a meal for bigger crowd. The hotels will come pick you up for an evening meal. All provide breakfast and hearty take away lunches. Big bath to soak in. Step back in time and really enjoy sitting on the varandah with great views of the hills, 2km from Kurow township which has all amenities-groceries, hotels, cafe, GP, golf, swimming. Waitaki river a stone throw away and bunnies at back door. Excellent tracks to bike, run, walk or ride. Horse welcome(bring own special feeds and must clean up paddocks, barrow provided--grazing no extra charge) and dog welcome,dog motel available or kennel at cottage back door no extra charge.

Generous and friendly hosts - this is a fantastic place for a relaxed, stress-free stay. All the essentials and more are provided, with Kurow just a short walk away for any extras if you need them. Very clean, plenty of space, and warm and cosy at any time of year thanks to an effective wood burner, electric blankets and heaters. Highly recommended!

Thank you Annie, thank you so much for leaving the cottage so clean and tidy. We have guests again and with me being away Neil had the job of preparing it, he was so pleased he did not have to be scrubbing floors etc. We have inquired about a fan over oven but with plaster over wood on outside and sarking behind wall board on inside not sure how we will go. It would keep the walls cleaner.
