The Oar & Paddle; our very special piece of paradise on the left bank of Lake Karapiro, Cambridge NZ. Guest accommodation is self-contained; guests have a private entrance and can come and go as they please. All accommodation is private and there is no sharing of facilities with other guests. The Paddle House has two suites with stunning views of the lake below, are very generous in size, new and very well appointed. Both have their own ensuites and patios. They are separated by a kitchen / laundry and adjacent to the living / dining area. There is no sharing with other guests. We now have our brand new stand alone Chalet called 'The Oarhouse Chalet’ with a much envied aspect over looking the lake. It has two suites each with either one Californian bed plus one single or three single beds for up to 6 guests. Each suite has an en suite. There is a large lounge / dinning with schist fire place, full kitchen, separate laundry, car port and extensive decking over looking the lake. We feel The Oarhouse would not be out of place amongst NZ’s finest.
