Special Amenities

A very private hideaway yet only 5 min drive to Moureeces Bay. 12 min to Whananaki store and boat ramp. A great place to fish, surf, kitesurf, dive or swim....it's all on our doorstep. 45 min from Whangarei city and three hours drive from Auckland. One hour from the Bay of Islands. Airport pick-ups available with shopping stop if required.

Whananaki has many bays and beaches. Great for boating, fishing, surfing, kitesurfing, coastal or bush walking. Safe swimming beaches and lots of places to bike or hike. Boat ramp. One hour drive to Tutukaka for dive and fishing charters...we can see the Poor Knights Islands from the beach.

Honestly a beautiful place. The caretaker was really lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed our time there. Was honestly a slice of heaven and extremely private. It's the perfect little slice of heaven The photos don't do it justice. Definitely keen on going back next year.
