Highview Retreat is a modern, well-appointed home built in 2011. It is on the Goldfield Heights hillside and built in 4 levels to take advantage of the spectacular views over Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkable Mountains. With two large living areas and 7 bedrooms it is a fantastic place to gather with family and friends for a special occasion - a big birthday, an anniversary, your wedding or just a stay away in New Zealand's top holiday destination. Highview has seen family ski weeks, corporate retreats, cooking demonstrations, girls' weekends, mountain biking adventures and golfing getaways. Come and share Queenstown's wealth of activities with your family and friends - wine tasting, biking, walking, golf, shopping, adventure and thrill seeking fun. Highview's spacious linked apartments share two living areas. In one there is an open fire and lots of lounging space. Here you have Freeview TV with a DVD player and Chromecast. This living room has floor to ceiling windows and a view over the pond and creek beside the house as well as views over the lake and mountains. The second living area is on the next level down. It also has fabulous views, an electric fire and Freeview TV as well Chromecast so you can watch your favourite shows or movies. There are two good-sized, fully equipped kitchen-dining areas. In each of the kitchen-dining areas there is a heat pump. You can enjoy a barbecue on the verandah and relax in our 6 person spa overlooking the lake and mountains after an active day. There are 7 bedrooms. 5 have king beds each with an ensuite, 1 king bedroom has an adjacent bathroom, and 1 twin bed room that has an adjacent toilet. All the king beds can be split into two single beds. Two of the king room's ensuites have a bath set into the window with a view out over the Lake. Get in quick for these rooms! The bedrooms all have wall mounted heaters and the bathrooms have wall mounted heaters and under-floor heating. There are ski storage lockers available in the carpark. Bed linen and towels are all provided for our normal bed configuration which sleeps up to 14 people. Cleaning after you leave is included in the tariff. If you're staying more than 7 nights we suggest a clean and linen change halfway through your stay.
