Nestled on a hill side amongst the limestone cliffs of the Waitaki Valley is the tastefully refurbished Limestone Cottage. Originally built in about 1860. Climb into the outside bubble bath and admire the stars. 400m from the Alps to Ocean cycle trail. Catering by arrangement. BBQ. Freeview TV. A perfect relaxing getaway!

On the Vanished World tourist trail and Alps to Ocean cycle trail. A wonderful place to recover and recuperate or just relax and enjoy the view. Have a bath outside under the stars. A very charming Old Oamaru stone place tucked in the limestone hills near Duntroon. The hosts had made a lovely Tuscan style front courtyard, we sat in the warm winter sun before it went behind the hills. Gorgeous having a open fireplace and the outside bath...one shooting star! A good base for a variety of interesting place, Oamaru is a great place for good food and discovering the old Victorian precinct. We would plan to stay again.
