PERSPECTIVE: Situated just one back from the beach, Jandals offers simple but comfortable, iconic bach accommodation at one of New Zealand’s most beautiful beaches – Taupo Bay. It stands on a large, fully fenced, flat section with a reserve on one side of the property – perfect areas for children to play on. There is a walkway leading to the beach right across the road. If you are wanting to spend a great Kiwi holiday with family and friends at an affordable cost, come and enjoy sun, surf and “Jandals” at Taupo Bay. ACCOMMODATION: The main bach comprises an open plan living, dining and kitchen area with French doors that lead out on to a small paved patio. In the living area there is a DVD player, stereo and TV with channels 1,2,3 and Prime available through Sky. Bring your own Sky card if you require other channels. The kitchen includes fridge with freezer, oven, microwave, coffee plunger, kitchen utensils and cutlery etc. SLEEPING ACCOMMODATION: includes a separate bedroom with a queen sized bed with one of the sofas in the living room extending into a comfortable double bed. Standing just next to Jandals on the property is a cosy cabin – the main area offers a queen sized bed, bedroom furniture and table and chairs and there is a small room off it housing 4 bunks – perfect for children. OTHER FACILITIES: The bathroom includes a shower, loo and basin and there is a small laundry area with washing machine and laundry sink. There is an outdoor table, chairs and gas BBQ. Available linen at the bach and cabin includes pillows, pillow protectors, mattress protectors, duvets and duvet covers. While most people bring their own, sheets and towels can be provided if required at an extra cost. Electric heaters provide warmth in the colder months.
