It is an ideal residence for a celebratory reconnection of family & friends, while equally suited as a venue for a quiet & replenishing retreat. The open plan living & dining areas are North & North West facing, catching all day & evening sun. Every living & bedroom area has a view of both mountains & sea & or adjacent garden. The North facing balcony provides continuity of indoor/outdoor living encompassing both leisure & meal times. Additionally, Ocean Dreaming provides a front row seat above Nelson Harbour Entrance - one of the very few remaining harbours in the world that combines both recreational & commercial traffic. In any given day, you might observe a pod of swimmers, kayakers or paddle boards; children learning to sail, all manner of recreational boats or a fully laden cargo ship complete with pilot boat & tugs! Or you can simply sink into the stunning Tasman Bay evenings as the sun sets with brilliant colour palette over the distant hills. Seals are frequent in the harbour & Orca whales & Dolphins occasionally visit! Special notes: No party or venue use. No Smoking. Car parking/Driveway - There are 2 off-street car parks provided. No other vehicles are permitted at the property & the shared driveway must never be obstructed. Visitor parking is available on the street below. Garage - The garage is small & unsuitable for car parking, but can be used to securely store bicycles, motorcycles or outdoor gear. Long stays - Long stays are welcome at this property. Spa pool - Only quiet use of the spa pool after 10pm. Guests must be mindful of noise, traffic & be considerate of neighbours.
