About this Holiday House

A classic 'kiwi' holiday home, Church View is wonderfully located just a few minutes walk from the village and Tekapo lake front. This sunny older-style house looks down the river to the lake, mountains and Church of the Good Shepherd. Enjoy the stunning views from a large sunny deck, with seating and a BBQ. Fantastic for star-gazing at Tekapo's clear night sky. Stay cosy around the log fire in winter. Offering 2 queen bedrooms and a twin, with separate shower, toilet and bathroom (bathtub), spacious living area and well equipped kitchen. The entrance to the house is by stairs to the deck. By prior agreement, Church View also welcomes well-behaved family dogs, so your whole family can enjoy the break (fenced back section). A small fee applies and owners are expected to follow a few simple rules. Please enquire. Church View holiday home is located just a few minutes drive from Tekapo’s village centre, lakefront, restaurants, shops, hot springs and observatory. Mt Dobson and Roundhill Ski Areas are both within an hours drive. Tekapo is also the perfect base for exploring neighbouring Mackenzie Country attractions of Twizel, Lakes' Pukaki & Ohau and Aoraki Mount Cook.

Good-sized property, great location - meals on the deck a must - convenient to everything and nice to be able to have our dog with us on holiday.

This place was clean and it was very good for a family of 5 to use. And the shower, hot water, and water pressure were the best. It was good to have a towel too. Thank you.
