At Bert's Place stretch out on the large north and east facing decks (58square metres), enjoying the tranquil surrounds, native bird song and the warmth of the sun. Bert's is part way up Conical Hill and faces east with a view of the hills and down across the village. It gets the direct sun from sunrise until about 3pm (in July) and 7pm in (Dec). Wide decking takes advantage of the east and north aspects. A fabulous place to connect with friends, family and if you must, and work (if you must) Bert's has 4 bedrooms, two up and two downstairs with two bathrooms. One bedroom downstairs has a queen sized bed, the other has a double with single bunk above it. Upstairs one room has a queen sized bed, the other two single beds. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs (toilet, hand basin and shower with massage head). Gas hot water, so always hot. A heat pump (heat and cooling) is in the lounge area, oil filled heaters in the bedrooms. The whole house is double-glazed and well insulated for your comfort. The kitchen, dining, living is open plan and the kitchen has four ring electric stove, 37 litre microwave and a fridge/freezer. There is a full complement of seating, crockery and utensils catering for 10 people. A Smart 4K 50" TV (FreeviewTV dish) and wifi Broadband for Netflix and SkyGo etc. A leather lounge suite (3 seater couch and two recliner chairs) and two smaller leather chairs with foot stools for relaxing in. This room opens out (French doors) onto a large L shaped deck area facing east and north. A three burner gas BBQ on the deck as well, gas supplied. The laundry has an automatic washing machine and dryer. There is parking for at least 5 cars on the section, and covered parking for SUV and trailer/bikes under the house. The house is fully carpeted and has cork tiles in the bathrooms and service areas, well insulated and double glazed. Tenants are required to clean this home on departure so it is clean and tidy for the next tenant. It is our policy not to accept bookings for adults under the age of 21 years. Right of letting reserved. Weekends 2 nights minimum, long weekend 3 nights minimum.
