Centrally and perfectly located for many day trips, 40 mins to Marahau, the gateway to the Abel Tasman National Park or Kaiteriteri with it's golden beaches and 30 min to Nelson. Closer there are award winning wineries and there are many artists galleries for you to visit. I am happy to share my knowledge of the area with you. THE WHARF , a couple of minutes walk from The Studio has CAFES, RESTAURANTS, yummy FISH AND CHIP SHOP, lovely shops and GALLERIES showcasing local artists work, A BOUTIQUE BREWERY, which, in summer often has live music The GREAT TASTE CYCLE TRAIL: we are just a minute from the Wharf where the MAPUA CYLE FERRY connects (people and their bikes) Mapua and Rabbit Island as part of the Tasman's Great Taste Trail linking Nelson to Mapua and on to Motueka and ultimately to Kaiteriteri. WAIMEA ESTUARY is the South Islands largest estuary and is of international importance for conservation of migratory birds. The Godwits migrate to the Waimea Estuary from Alaska 11000km in 7 to 9 days non stop and they come to the end of our street, very amazing. AT THE END OF OUR STREET, SWIM at HIGH TIDE and at the end of the day, it is a tranquil place to watch the sun go down
