About this Holiday House

Tucked in a private back section 5 minutes walk from the lake. A genuine kiwi bach, built in the early 80's. Plenty of room (4 bedrooms plus rumpus room) for family and friends. Only 45 minutes drive to Whakapapa ski field on Mount Ruapehu. 10 minutes drive to Tokanu Hot pools. 45 minutes drive to Taupo. Kuratau is a scenic and quiet lakeside spot with many recreational activities at your doorstep. No parties please. No smoking inside please

Special Amenities

5 minute walk to the most beautiful lake in the world. Section is down a right of way so very private with lovely covered deck. The deck really serves as an extra room in the summer.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Only a 45 minute drive to the Whakapapa ski fields on Mount Ruapehu and a 10 minute drive to the clean relaxing hot pools at Tokanu. There are many lovely walks all around the area and a very well serviced local store 2km up the road at Omori.

This is a great place to stay with plenty of room and very well 'kitted out'. Comfortable with nice outdoor area and within easy walking distance of the lake. Lots of nice bush and walks. Would definitely come again.
