Amazing place! Lovely nature and super easy going owner! We were so in love of the place that we would be back for sure. Outdoor bath was a highlight in a sunny day in the west coast, perfect for couples or like us, a group of friends :) Thanks a lot for the lovely stay!!

Thank you so much for providing a wonderful holiday home. The house was beautifully surrounded by native bush and the decks and the outdoor bath took full advantage of it. The linen and towels supplied were luxurious and the fact that we didn't have to clean the house was an added bonus. The house was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Marie's Kitchen was a great way to have a meal delivered to our door- a friendly service and delicious meal. The location of the house was spectacular - close enough to the beach to hear it and close to some great walks - the Truman track is a must. thanks again, a great place to celebrate our 10yr anniversary. we hope to return. Hi Brendan and Julie, we wanted to thank you for such a splendid 5 days at the Paparoa Whare. It was just what the Dr (literally) ordered and even although the weather was a bit indifferent, it didn't matter in the least. It was such a beautiful niche amongst the bush and within sound of the sea...and the bath was the best...to be out under the sky, in the darkness, to the haunting cry of the morepork...it doesn't come any better than that for us! The 2 other matters that are always important to me...are a comfy bed...vital! And fastidiously clean environs...and it ticked the bill on all counts!! It was more than we'd dreamed it was going to be, which is always a delightful surprise...a bit like seeing a movie after you've read the book, and you don't have great expectations. We've been 'burned' once too often, when renting holiday accommodation sight unseen. So the key to us is our desire to return at some stage...MANY thanks for everything!
