Please note there is no TV, dishwasher and you need to bring your own linen (theres plenty of duvets etc), but otherwise you will find all you need. The beach is 80m away. Stroll out to the "Hole in the Rock" at low tide and observe seals. Kayak the estuary and enjoy the fabulous land and seascapes of Puponga Farm Park and Farewell Spit. Heaps of farm and beach walks close by, including spectacular Wharariki Beach. There is plenty for everyone - Scenic walks, swimming, boating, surfcasting, shellfish gathering, surfing, sand dune sliding and exploring. Safari tours pass by daily and horse trekking is just up the road. Pakawau has a cafe and convenience store, less than 10 mins away. Kayaks, BBQ, badminton net & racquets supplied. And if you do get a wet day, theres plenty of games in the cupboard or local history picture books to browse.
