The Cottage kitchen is stocked with a good selection of teas, coffee, sugar, salt/pepper, oil, vinegar etc. We are also lucky to have a river boundary 10 min walk available for picnics, sunsoaking and swimming. In winter we offer a warm and cosy environment with heating provided by solar underfloor panels and a heated towel rail in the bathroom. Please come and enjoy our hospitality!

Mahoetahi farm is located 5 min from Waitara and 10-15 minutes from New Plymouth, and 40 minutes from Mount Taranaki. The local sights I would highly recommend are Pukekura Park, Puke Ariki Museum, Len Lye Centre, Parititu Rock and Back Beach, Fitzroy Beach, Oakura Beach, actually all beaches are great. Taranaki has a lot to offer and is now #2 Top Region to visit in the world.
