For those looking for adventure on four legs, we have free secure grazing available for horses just a short distance away. With some of the darkest sky's in New Zealand, Naseby is the ideal place for a spot of star gazing.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

The house is just up the road from 2 great pubs that serve food all day, a cafe and the local store that has every thing that you forgot to bring with you and more. The Naseby Forest Recreation Area is only a minute away and the swimming dam is a short walk from the door. We are lucky to have access to some prime dark sky observation spots, within easy walking distance.

Lovely cottage in a perfect location - easy walk to the grocer and hotel (restaurant). Warm and cozy - the underfloor heating in the kitchen and bathroom is a nice touch.

Highly recommend this amazing little cottage!! There has been a lot of thought into this place and it really shows. From all beautiful kitchen ware and mods around the house it makes it feel very homey! Will definitely come back and stay.
