About this Holiday House

The Bay House, on Park Street in Queenstown is very special. Absolute waterfront location and a genuine 5 minute, easy stroll to town through the gorgeous Botanical Gardens. With spectacular views of The Remarkables, Cecil Peak and Walter Peak, this 3 level home is located in Queenstown’s ‘dress circle’, as it’s known by locals. This is a unique area close to town, but away from the action and incredibly quiet with little traffic, other than cyclists, runners and walkers heading to and from the delightful Frankton Track at the end of Park Street. Designed by famous New Zealand Architect, Ian Athfield in 1987, every bedroom (standing and lying down) has magnificent views across Lake Wakitipu and the many mountain peaks beyond. The home has been fully modernised, with ducted heating, double glazing and completely refurnished to a high standard by an interior designer; completed January 2018. Luxurious new beds, feather down pillows and duvets and high spec linen, ensure you will be sleeping on a cloud. The Bay House offers a wide range of activities literally right outside the front door; paddleboard, kayak, pentaque, tennis courts, ice skating, frisbee golf, picnic spots and beaches are all just seconds or minutes away. The third level of the home has outstanding views across the lake, modern kitchen, dining area, 55” TV, fibre WiFi and Bluetooth audio. There is a smaller third bedroom with new king bed. There is also a separate toilet on this level. The kitchen/dining area leads to a generous sized, sheltered and sunny backyard with BBQ, outdoor furniture, 2 sun loungers and the icing on the cake: a brand new hot tub*. The second floor features 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms; one is the en-suite for the main bedroom. Both bedrooms have new super king beds which can split to large single beds if necessary. This offers excellent flexibility for different group dynamics. There is a fully equipped laundry in the ground floor garage with washer, dryer and 2 Asko drying cupboards for wet ski gear. The garage also has a range of ‘fun stuff’; 4 mountain bikes, chilly bin and picnic rugs etc for visitors to enjoy and explore the area with. There is parking for 3 cars outside and 1 car in the garage. Please note, this home is best suited for adults. The Bay House does not allow children under 13 years old without Owner’s approval. *** When booking this property, you are agreeing to the following TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
