This sheltered, spacious and sunny holiday home has a great aspect and is walking distance to the Thermal Pools, with shops, cafes and bars at the end of the crescent. Despite this close proximity the crescent is very quiet and tranquil. As new and architecturally designed, 22 Rutherford offers all the comfort you need for a relaxing stay - we built it that way. Wake to mountain views from the master suite. Relax on sun-drenched breakfast and evening decks, and enjoy the well-appointed living and bedroom wings. Enjoy spacious indoor living across three split levels with a double height lounge capturing all day sun from the east, north and west. Take in views of Conical Hill, snuggle up in front of the fire, watch the big screen TV, or prepare your favourite food in the fully equipped entertainer’s kitchen. There is something for everyone at 22 Rutherford – but the pièce de résistance is the mezzanine master bedroom and luxury ensuite, with gabled ceilings and views, and a balastrade overlooking the double height lounge. The bedroom wing has a spacious entry, glass hallway and high mono-pitch ceilings. A second bedroom is well appointed with a Queen or twin-share option. A large bunkroom has a large TV and double three-high bunks, sleeping six, for kids or teenagers to retreat to (giving adults some space). The bunk beds have comfy quality mattresses so are good for adults too. And there's a ladder up to a large 'secret' loft the kids and teenagers will love! Outdoors relax on one of two large decks. The sheltered north deck is nestled between the two wings of the house, opening with access from both the north and the bunkroom – the perfect spot for a morning coffee, afternoon siesta or for kids to play. Or enjoy afternoon sun or an evening BBQ on the western deck adjoining the living wing from the kitchen/dining area. Both decks have dining tables and chairs. There is plenty of room to park and store the bikes or skis in a purpose built outdoor storage shed. This is the perfect house and location for your getaway with family or friends. Walk just 800m to the thermal pools which can be enjoyed in the heat of the day, can warm you up when it’s cold or watch the sunset or star gaze on winter evenings. Handy to all the fantastic activities Hanmer has to offer including the walking, cycling and dirt bike tracks, watersports, the animal parks and golf, with Mt Lyford an hour away for skiing and snowboarding.

Architecturally a nice house to look at, unfortunately with lack of curtains or thin nets where for curtains lack of privacy especially in kids bunk room bare open windows right next to your face where sleeping. We had no microwave as was broken & removed & not enough glasses for number of guests staying. When the property says nothing provided it is that so make sure you have toilet paper & hand soap for arrival & toilet spray & dishwasher powder if you intend on using dishwasher. We also had an issue with hot water on last night only one of 7 guests showering then no water & still no hot water the next morning when we checked out at 10.45am. Owner originally was easy to deal with but very complacent when i brought issues to her attention. Also worth to note when we stayed property was on the market so car & foot traffic were pulling up to look we felt uncomfortable with not having curtains. House very hot with only ceiling fan in master did get uncomfortably hot on our warmer day

Great holiday house, clean and tidy, children like their own room with bunk beds. Lots of space in lounge, dining and kitchen area. Very comfortable location to the Hot Pools in walking distance. Plenty of walk ways easy to access. Highly recommended.
