About this Holiday House

Modern house right on the waterfront. Unobstructed views of the ever changing Ruakaka estuary, out to Bream Bay, the Hen and Chicks and the Whangarei Heads. Tranquil location in a quiet cul-de-sac, the estuary offers safe swimming, kayaking and paddle-boarding. The surf is only 500m away across the estuary or three minutes in the car to the patrolled area. Off street parking for up to 4 cars and a boat. Boat ramp 300m away for easy access to renowned Bream Bay. 90 minutes from Auckland.

Modern spacious house with a funky vibe, huge decks and a large flat lawn to play on. Fabulous views from the open plan living area and all the bedrooms have a smaller sea view and open onto the decks. Enjoy the ukuleles for a sing along! Absolute waterfront - safe swimming at your doorstep

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Ruakaka Estuary is a wildlife refuge home to many species of seabirds and a breeding colony for rare dotterels and fairy terns as well as oystercatchers. So sorry no pets . You can walk to the dairy, cafe at the surf beach and the local takeaway and it's a short drive to the supermarket and a couple of other cafes. If you ever want to leave, it's about 10mins to Waipu and Marsden Cove and 25 mins to Whangarei and Mangawhai. 5 min to Waipu Golf Club's links course with magnificent ocean views.

Group of five ladies, we had a little retreat booked. We have a lot of children combined and needed a well earned restful peaceful holiday home. This home ticked all the boxes, plus some. The most relaxing location and immaculate home. Everything about this home is so comfortable. Bedding, couches, view, outdoor table on deck even in middle of winter I wrapped in their luxury blankets early in the morning to watch the sunrise and wasn’t even cold. It was just bliss! We can’t wait to be back next year. No one had to bed share, gas hot water, every applicant and kitchen dish all thought of. Nothings missing! I felt so special staying there and will remember my “raging” 40th retreat for ever (note: the most quiet 40th” recorded” 🤣🩷🩷

Cancellation within 7 days of booking - sorry no refund unless we can re-let the property for the dates booked. No refunds for bookings held during peak times.

Please check-in after 4pm and check-out by 11am.

We may ask you for a bond to be paid at the time of the final payment. After inspection at conclusion of your stay to be returned to you less the cost of any damages.
