Laundry facilities are located at Claris adjacent to the general store. Great Barrier Island has been designated as one of 4 Dark Sky Sanctuary's in the world. Check in 2pm Check out 10am Rates: A deposit of 50% is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. Full payment is due 28 days prior to arrival. If you cancel your reservation 28 days prior to arrival, 50% of your payment will be charged. If you cancel your reservation within 14 days of arrival, 100% of your payment will be charged. No shows are also charged 100% of the payment. Peak season 20 Dec to 9 February requires full payment by 1st November. Should you cancel after this date we can only refund if we are able to re-book the property. This is due to the short notice as it almost impossible for other guests to make travel bookings to and from the Island over his time.
