Cosy and charming, our farmstay cottage is a tranquil home away from home for families, couples or work teams. Located just over an hour north of Auckland on a working dairy farm, the cottage is 15 minutes drive from the beaches and cafes of Mangawhai or a scenic 25 minute drive to Matakana wine country with Leigh, Pakiri and Te Arai all close by as well. On its own fully fenced section, the cottage is available to well behaved fur-guests. It has a queen bedroom and two twin single rooms plus a fully equipped kitchen with open plan dining and lounge area with a log fire. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and a separate toilet. The north-west facing deck provides a quiet spot to sit with beautiful views of the farm valley and hills. Our cows may pass by on their way to milking but otherwise the outlook is peaceful paddocks, trees and green hills. A restful retreat from city life. If you're keen to meet our cows, our friendly staff will be happy to host you in the milking shed or in our calf sheds when we're feeding calves (Mar-May and Jul-Nov only). For many of our younger guests, the chance to pat the calves is a real highlight! The cottage has a gas BBQ for your use and all firewood is provided.
