About this Holiday House

A relaxing and peaceful place to stay. This is a 4 bedroom newly-built home in a tranquil bush setting only 10 minutes drive to the beach and 5 minutes from the lovely Bennetts cafe and chocolate factory. Bedroom 2 has single bunk beds and the 4th bedroom has a couch that folds into a Queen bed. Only accepting family groups over NY/Christmas period. No parties as this is our family home.

Special Amenities

Private and quiet bush setting. Enjoy a spa nestled in the kanuka grove and engage with the stunning native bush and birdlife from the large deck also. A short drive to the village and 10 minutes to the surf beach. The section also has an outdoor playhouse, a trampoline and 2 hectares of native bush to explore. There is a small bridge that leads to the orchard.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Mangawhai surf beach (10 minute drive) as well as several other slightly further beautiful beaches (Langs, Waipu Cove, Te Arai, Forestry - 15mins). The stunning Bennetts chocolate factory and local art gallery 5 mins drive.

Lovely relaxing retreat - highly recommended.

This house was such a find! I genuinely feel homesick for it!! A tranquil oasis, only a stone's throw from the beach and town but an escape from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. Waking up every morning to views of the surrounding native bush was priceless. Gorgeous architecture and beautiful natural surroundings. Absolutely divine!
