Special Amenities

Wonderful sea/harbour views being beachfront. Boardwalk right outside either going to the city/resturants/fishing club or to the Olympic pool/resturant plus 2 surfclubs who patrol the beach in summer. Shop/day resturant next door with the Sunshine Brewery one block away. Lift in apartment for luggage mainly. 2 mountain bikes and a long board avaiable to use.

We are from Christchurch and had a family wedding in Gisborne. Rented Waverly Apartment for the 3 days and it was fabulous! We had stunning weather and the beach was gorgeous. You cannot get any closer. Janice sorted everything and the home was very clean. It is big, like two homes really, as downstairs has its own lounge and kitchen. Our adult kids loved the privacy. The garage is huge and the remote perfect for coming and going. Were too busy to bike or surf, but all there. Would we rent again? Absolutely! Great job team Waverly!

Excellent location being direct on the beach, walking distance to local shops, cafes & restaurants. We felt very spoilt by our hosts Janice & Marty, with excellent communication before arriving and throughout our 3 night stay. They were very generous to us and it felt like being at home within our apartment on the top floor. Being able to use their bicycles during our stay was an added bonus and the ride along the boardwalk out front of the property is a must! The apartment itself was very welcoming and extremely comfortable, with all amenities available. We cannot recommend staying at the Waverley apartments enough and hope to re-visit again in the near future. Stayed January 2020
