About this Holiday House

Beautiful Country Property - set in acres of manicured grounds. Guests have full use of a completely seperate private guest wing, opening onto sunny decks with magnificent country views. Drive through the tree lined driveway to the front entrance, relax and enjoy! Tea and coffee provided, a well equiped kitchenette with microwave, toaster, sandwich maker, electric frypan, crockery and cutlery, Nespresso machine, fridge freezer, washing machine and drier. There is no oven.. Walking distance to the famous Matakana Village, market, theatre complex, wonderful restaurants, and a short drive to beaches and vineyards.

Close to superb vineyards and magnificent beaches for surfing, swimming and snorkeling. Owners live on the property and are available if needed. Take a ferry ride to historical Kawau Island for more beautiful beaches.

This is not really a holiday home: it is the guest bedroom wing. The ‘kitchenette’ is in fact the laundry (no cooktop, no dishwasher), there is no dining room (just an outdoor table and two seats in the laundry) and no lounge (just a couch and a tv in the bunk room). The shower runs cold at times. The garden is not manicured’ but rather neglected. Not what we assumed from the listing.

Thankyou Chris for your thoughts. All of these points are covered in the description in the listing. There is a dining table and 2 dining chairs in the TV room. There is a Weber BBQ on the deck. There is no laundry,(however there is an auto washer and drier in the kitchenette. There are 2 Queen rooms as well as 2 sets of bunks for additional children if required. There are several photographs of the set up. The garden is dry as a result of the weather we have been having lately. The Main House is available by prior arrangement with 5 bedrooms, a large lounge, library and 4 bedrooms if you require more space. You can privately message me for details.
