Villa Maria is a gorgeous, spacious, light-filled family home, originally moved from The Mission Winery in Napier and has been lovingly renovated over the last 20 years. We are perfectly situated between Havelock North and Hastings (four minutes drive to both) on a stunning two hectare lifestyle section, with classic views of the hills of The Sleeping Giant, Te Mata Peak. Our home is a double storey villa. Downstairs we have a large open plan kitchen with fabulous granite bench tops, dining room, sitting room with various beautiful spaces to relax and huge bifold doors leading out onto the deck, plus a separate sitting room. The kitchen also has a separate scullery which leads out onto the dining area of the deck - perfect flow. The kitchen has two dish drawers, and the scullery a large dishwasher which makes entertaining effortless. The kitchen is fully equipped, has a lovely Rangemaster Tuledo electric oven with gas hob and there are three fridges, a small drinks fridge, one in the kitchen and one in the scullery. Extensive crockery, cutlery and glassware and the house is lovingly decorated with interesting artwork, collections and stunning house plants. Downstairs there is one bedroom with views onto the garden and bathroom (not ensuite but adjacent to it). Also on this level is our studio which is completely separate, with its own entrance, and French doors to the garden. The studio is a stunning open plan space with a full kitchen, king bed, ensuite bathroom with shower and open plan sitting area with views from every window looking towards both sides of the garden and also its own private courtyard. Upstairs, off the landing, we have the master bedroom with a super king bed, ensuite bathroom with shower and bath. Two further bedrooms, one very large with another super king bed (which can be two king singles if required), and the other smaller with a queen bed, all with stunning views of Te Mata Peak or the garden. These two bedrooms share a lovely bathroom with shower. All the bedrooms are light filled and airy. Our home has wonderful outdoor living under the grape vines, with a fabulous long table for al fresco entertaining overlooking the beautiful gardens with both a tennis court and swimming pool with the stunning views of Te Mata Peak, and the property. Lots of seating in various places to ensure outdoor living is thoroughly enjoyed.
