It was very nice. Comfortable bedding and cleanliness. Kids Friendly.

Great place to stay had everything we needed great base camp for our long weekend holiday. close to eateries and fishing in canals dark sky views we had a great half day trip to Mount Cook village blue lakes etc. We could see the fish in the canal, but they weren't interested in what i was throwing at them. didn't go home empty-handed last stop High Country Salmon Farm 10mins up the road feed the salmon and took a fresh one home as well as a taste sample while there. Would like to come back and stay again and would recommend.

This is a great place to stay. We stayed for a week for the rowing. Beds very comfortable, awesome shower, clean and very well presented. Coffee machine and TV streaming (Netflicks, Disney+, Amazon Prime and others) was a treat. Although we did not realise that 'smart tv' meant there was no normal Tv. With the double glazing it was very warm. It is just outside of the main town area (5-ish minute drive to the shops) which we love as was very quiet. It has a washing machine which was not listed - so that was a bonus! It does not have a microwave (is not on the amenities list which we did not notice)- while a small thing, for holidays it is a bit essential. One thing that would be helpful - instruction manuals for the TV and coffee machine. We have never had either but muddled our way through. Amy from Book Twizel was very helpful and checked in that everything was ok. When it was realised that the owners BBQ had gone missing, she organised another one straight away.
