Our Cottage is a small window through New Zealand colonial past. As a self-contained unit built 15 years ago from the remains of an early settlers’ stable it is now part of a property listed as one of Auckland most charming heritage buildings. LOCATION The Cottage offers a unique charming space, comfort and total privacy only 15 minutes away from the airport and Auckland City centre and ferry terminal. It is also within minutes’ walk from Mt Smart Stadium, One Tree Hill park, the Manukau Harbour, Onehunga village, beaches and railway station. SETTING Carefully decorated and set in a peaceful sub-tropical garden with water feature and Harbour views, the Cottage is made for total relaxation in the very heart of Auckland city. Its original design makes it spacious for a couple and big enough for a small family. Positioned at the rear of the owner's house it also gives you privacy and independent access. The cottage is equipped with smoke alarm, fire blankets, First Aid kit, fire extinguisher as well as hand sanitiser and masks. Note that there is a steep staircase leading to the mezzanine bedroom. Caution is advised. WE ARE PET FRIENDLY Your pets are welcome by previous agreement only and under the conditions of our Pet Policy and following charges: - Refundable cash bond: $100.00 - Anti-allergic cleaning fee: $30/ stay - Daily pet charges: $10/ day / pet Note that pets are strictly prohibited on beds and furniture. Bond, charges and fee are collected on arrival in cash only. CLEANING FEE Note that the included cleaning fee is valid for 7 days and is renewable weekly after that. BOND & CREDENTIALS All guests must provide a verified phone number when making their booking and present a current credit card and a matching photo identification on arrival. Note that we require a $500 bond for any stay of 14 days or more. It is payable before arrival by card or bank transfer or on arrival in cash only.
