Spent a week in the bungalow 2. Absolutely loved the place. Very quiet beach out front and a nice spot to swim and snorkel. Restaurant and bar about 200m walk down the beach. Will definitely be staying again

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great snorkeling nearby, and a cafe opposite at Tropical gardens! The beds were super comfy & photos very accurate. Everything else was clean but lower kitchen cupboards could do with a spring clean! Well appointed with pans utensils etc! Great being almost beach front and shared use of kayaks (with front bach) was an added bonus. Still need an extra curtain in one bedroom as it’s not very private! A towel with pegs does work but not ideal. It would have been nice to have some milk. / bread or biscuits etc on arrival to make tea as we arrived at the place at 11.30pm ! We hired bicycles from Ride Rarotonga - they will deliver, for a small fee but don’t miss the Go Local Turtle Tour - great team, safety is paramount with them! Wigmores store is 4.5 km away too which is handy! The Islander Hotel team were great - it was good to organise hotel transfers with them and lovely to have the linen changes etc! Thanks!

This property was listed as having a heat pump for cooling and fans. The heat pump was one of the main reasons for our choice. Unfortunately this is not the case and our arrival was in the middle of a very hot, humid period and I ended up spending $110 on a doctor and antibiotics for an extreme heat rash that got infected. Not impressed. The property itself was in a great location with the lagoon close by, clean and tidy bungalow. Downfalls were, curtain missing in one bedroom so had to hang a towel up, other bedroom had to hang a beach towel as curtain did not go right across the window. No pegs for drying clothes so had to purchase some, fan in bedroom made quite a loud ticking. Hot water supplied from solar on roof so when overcast only luke warm showers. Found an outdated compendium under couch which mentioned a safe and power boost button for shower but no where to be found. Not worth the money we paid, wouldn't stay here again.
