The Otago Rail Trail can be accessed throughout the year, and has been specifically created for mountain bikers, walkers and horse riders. The Trail follows the old Central Otago branch railway line 152 km from Clyde to Middlemarch passing through many towns along the way, including Waipiata.

cute old cottage out in a farm. sunny garden, good log fire, comfy beds, friendly helpful host. a great place for a weekend.
