Seven minutes to Greta Valley Bistro & Pub and about 25mins to the picturesque Gore Bay. 45mins easy drive from Christchurch city this is a great escape for a weekend with friends or family.

Special Amenities

Located on SHWY1 but set back off the road. Heaps of parking. Big front yard with an outdoor room. 12min drive to Amberley where there is a supermarket and other shops. Brew Moon Brewery is great for pizzas and local craft beer. Greta Valley Tavern 8mins drive north.

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Township of Waipara about a 5min drive - here you will be able to take the historic train through to Waikari - bookings essential. Lots of fantastic wineries within a few minutes drive - Greystone, Waipara Springs, Black Estate, Sherwood, Pegasus Bay to name a few. The sculptural park "Iron Ridge Quarry" is just a short drive away. OR for something more active bring your mountain bikes and do the Waipara Valley Vineyard trail - sipping some wine along the way. About a half an hour drive north you will get to the pretty town of Cheviot and inland to the picturesque Gore Bay for some beach time.
