Pohara's White House offers special views of the majestic Rata trees in Hanson Winter Reserve. From the covered verandah you can sit and relax and watch the birdlife visiting the native garden and birdbath. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks on the deck while watching the bay. View shafts of Pohara Beach and wider Golden Bay are offered. It is peaceful and relaxing but if you want intention, you are within walking distance of Pohara's shops, bars and cafes. Early morning or evening walks can be enjoyed and you can even bike to Takaka. Good garaging offers charging points for ebikes and EV vehicles. All our bed linen is cotton and we use eco friendly products where possible. Basic supplies provided, well equipped kitchen. Bay Vista is a quiet and safe neighbourhood in close proximity to all Pohara offers, but far enough away to experience a true holiday.
