Lockwood home on harbour edge, 3 km east of Opononi, down no exit road with only 4 houses. Straight across access road to beach and safe, swimmable river that flows into the harbour - great for kids. Sleeps 4 comfortably and up to 8. Main bedroom - double bed; 2nd bedroom - double bunk with single above; lounge - double futon and single divan. Fantastic views straight down to Hokianga Heads from deck. Tiny TV, DVD, CD player, no wifi - come here to have a break!

Unbelievable views at all times of the day, across road from harbour,safe swimming. A comfortable, cosy, private place to have a memorable break, great for singles, couples and families alike.

Koutu boulders just down the road, boat launching just down the road. Launch your kayaks and paddleboards from the beach at next door neighbours. Jetty for fishing (and bombing at high tide). Watch orca come up the Harbour. 3 km to Opononi. catch a boat across to the dunes. Visit the Heads -walk down to the beach and around the headland (low tide). Visit Manea. Buy fish and chips from Opo takeaways and eat them on the beach. Walk up to Waiotemarama waterfall.
