About this Holiday House

Fully equipped modern house, with sea view overlooking Horseshoe Bay. 2 bedrooms, sleeps 5 Double glazed, with heat pump. A bird watches paradise! Seafarers is ideal for those that want peace and quiet, away from the crowds and are happy to sit back, enjoy the scenery and listen to nature at it's best! Aurora photographers, I am very happy to let you know when one is happening during your stay, and will show you the good spots for viewing, and if you need help with camera settings I can help you there. Car $50 a day, petrol included, please let us know if needed. Early check in, if possible is $65, please ask. Yes we have a coffee plunger! Free Wifi. Special Amenities

Seafarers is very private, quiet sunny spot, with native bush up to the deck, has Tuis and Bellbirds feeding off the Fushia and Flax flowers. The cheeky Kaka visit the deck, looking for a few peanuts and Fantails flit around the house. Kiwi's can be heard calling at night, and if you are very lucky could spot one. Many walks close by, and a safe beach at the end of the road. Moorings are available if you want to bring a boat. Seafarers is ideal for families, couples and just the perfect spot for a honeymoon. You will be meet at the plane or boat on arrival, and we are happy to assist you in your bookings, and activities on our beautiful island.

What a great place to stay. So peaceful, surrounded by bush and birdsong every day. Nice and cosy for when the weather was not so flash. A perfect spot to enjoy the view of the bay, watch the birds in the trees or go for a walk on the beach. The use of the car was a bonus. Thanks Andrea and Sandra.

Highly recommended! Prime location: seconds from the beach, walks and hikes, short drive to everything else. Seafarers kept us warm during winter nights, and birds came for a quick visit to welcome us. Kiwi spotting not far (end of Lee Bay Road or road to Oban), we even heard a couple at night right by the house. A lovely home away from home

Seafarers Cottage was a lovely, quiet house with an awesome view of Horseshoe Bay. Got some great photos of the Milky Way too! The house itself was clean, warm and had everything we needed including a car to get around the island. Definitely a bonus for getting up and down those hills! Andrea was lovely and gave us loads of info about the island and the wildlife. Had a great stay and would love to come back again - maybe in summer to try and get a sighting of the elusive kiwi! Thanks Andrea and Sandra for having us.
