The grounds of the cottage are magnificent, and yet secluded, ensuring you taste the best of New Zealand's tranquility. Nut Point Gallery is located on one side of the grounds (open to the general public 6 days a week), while Nut Point Cottage is at the far end. With a generous lawn to play games, run around, or simply just relax, you can do all this without a care in the world. The only visitor you may get is Bob.....our resident Labrador. He is the REAL owner of Nut Point, and he loves guests. Nut Point Cottage is perfect for families looking to cater for themselves, without having to travel miles for groceries. With quality furnishings to make your stay as comfortable as possible, as owners, we take pride in our New Zealand and exotic gardens featuring numerous plants, as well as artwork from many well known New Zealand artists. Nut Point Cottage is excellently located for exploring Christchurch, Mt Hutt and Porters Pass skifields, and its surrounds.
