Amenities at the house include a small library, gas barbecue, beach bbq, kayaks, 4 sun lounges, beachfront dining area, daybeds, Bose sound system and TV for DVD's only. Fulltime staff for housekeeping services is included. Excellent fresh food markets and shops are located ten minutes drive away in Port Villa. Local taxis are easy to use and inexpensive. A large beachfront deck for dining, sunbaking, relaxing and star gazing leads you to the azure water. Snorkelling off the beach beyond The Boat House is deemed to be some of the best in Port Villa. Kayaks are available to explore nearby Paradise Cove. Latest Boathouse Review We arrived home late yesterday after a great week at the Boat house. The house is just fantastic place and a wonderful location, the snorkelling just off the house is very good, plenty of regenerating coral, fish a plenty, even the odd sea snake which was very cool to see. The write up of the boathouse is understated, when you do get there it is true you just don't want to leave the place, we only went out for dinner once and preferred to have dinner at the house or down on the beach in front of the house. The garden is just right. The staff are all very friendly and a special mention for Willie, he is a true ambassador for the boathouse and Vanuatu. Of all the special places I have stayed at over many years the Boathouse is up at the top with La Sagesse in Grenada in the Caribbean. We are already discussing when we can get back there next winter with our girls this time.
