About this Holiday House

newly renovated modern contemporary ocean front holiday home. Four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. sleeps 11. Bedding and pillows provided but sheets and towels are BYO. freeview, Wifi smart tv with chrome cast, no sky tv. Kitchen has stove top coffee maker and grinder. one minute walk to ocean and 2 minutes walk to harbour, one minute to shop cafe/bar. Five minutes walk to ohope wharf and restaurant. no better location to enjoy NZ's most loved beach. bring you own bikes and ride the beach at low tide. great paddleboarding, surfing and fishing. beachfront golf course 2 minutes drive. Section is not fenced.

Agroup of 12 of us stayed in this great house last year for the Oxfam Trailwalker fundraising event. The house was fantastic, all amenities. This year we booked the house again but the Trailwalk was cancelled due to the Coronavirus. Lois, under the rental contract, could have kept the deposit and final payment for three nights accommodation but she refunded the lot. A true New Zealander and a great person to deal with. I have no hesitation in renting this house again..

This property was superb for our family holiday (adult children and grandchildren). It was well equipped and had everything we needed. The location so close to the beach is wonderful and Ohope is a beautiful beach. With no fencing on the road front, you do need to watch small children. We would certainly go back if we have the chance.

This place was an absolute pleasure to stay at. We did have young children to watch with the property not being fenced, however there is a beach access way only a couple of meters away from the house. The house has a lovely flow and plenty of room for parking. Thank you so much.
