About this Holiday House

Kanuka Kastle is an original kiwi bach - no frills but all the modern conveniences including WIFI. Peep of the sea from the deck, close to estuary and short walk to main surf beach. Bach has two bedrooms, plus 2 sleepouts. Master bedroom with access to deck has a queen bed. 2nd bedroom has king single trundle bed Sleepout h1as queen bed and ensuite. Sleepout 2 has double bed and ceiling fan and tv Open plan Lounge with large comfy couch to watch TV or just chill out. Sunny private deck for outdoor dining and sunbathing. NOT SUITABLE FOR SMALL CHILDREN AS NO FENCES. ONLY AVAILABLE TO FAMILIES OR MATURE COUPLES PLEASE.

Peep of the sea and Great Barrier Island from the deck. Private deck and plenty of room for kids to run around. Centrally located easy walking distance to estuary and main surf beach. Great off-street parking and room for the boat as well. Walk to restaurants and Wood Street shopping, fish and chips, pizza and bakery and 4 Square. Service Station and fishing tackle shop too. Free Shuttle bus runs from end of street to surf beach over the holiday period. .

Special Attractions and Activities Nearby

Handy position, close to main surf beach, estuary, boat ramp, golf course, bowling greens, activity zone (skateboarding) shops and restaurants. Cliff top and bush walks all close by. Mangawhai Village 8 min drive - Bennetts Chocolate Factory and Cafe, Craft markets on Saturdays at the Village and also down at the Mangawhai Tavern. Tennis at the Domain and plenty of cycle/walking trails in the area. Short drive to Laings Beach, Waipu Cove to the north and Pacific Beach and Te Arai Point to the south. Further afield, visit the Kauri Museum in Paparoa, Kai Iwi Lakes well worth the trip. Whangarei only an hour away
