VIEWS:
Castle Cliff Lodge has been built on a large section positioned perfectly with the most incredible 270-degree views. The panorama encompasses the famous Remarkable mountain range, Bayonet Peak, Cecil Peak, Walter Peak and Bob’s Peak. This is a brilliant, elevated location looking down Lake Wakatipu towards Kingston and up towards Glenorchy.
LOCATION:
Situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, Castle Cliff Lodge provides guests with a luxurious and peaceful getaway. Downtown Queenstown is a convenient four-minute drive away or a scenic 25-minute walk. Guests are also just an eight-minute drive from the International Airport and for winter guests, Coronet Peak ski field is an easy 23-minute drive away.
BEDROOMS + BATHROOMS:
he six bedrooms are spread out over three levels and all have luxury linens. The four bathrooms have premium toiletries, hair dryers, and heated towel rails. There is also a guest toilet on the main living level and one downstairs by the games room.
CONFIGURATION:
Master bedroom on the upper level of the house: King split bed (can be 1x super king or 2x singles), amazing mountain and lake views, desk, sofa, Smart TV, built-in wardrobe, ensuite with shower. Bedroom 2 on the upper level: Bunk bed with queen on the bottom and single up top, built-in wardrobe, mountain and lake views and a secret “Treehouse” for the children. Bedroom 3 on the upper level: Queen bed, mountain and lake views. Bedrooms 2 and 3 share a bathroom with separate tub and shower. Bedroom 4 on the middle level: Queen bed. Bedroom 5 on the middle level: Queen bed. Bedrooms 4 and 5 share a bathroom with shower. Bedroom 6 on the lower level: King bed, mountain and lake views, desk, built-in wardrobe, and ensuite with shower.
LIVING AREAS:
This generously sized home has more than enough space for guests to spread out. There are two living rooms on the main level of the home, one with an open log fireplace and the other with a log burner. Both have doors opening out to the fabulous outdoor living areas. The front room has large picture-windows for guests to admire the spectacular lake and mountain views, and the second living room has a convenient study nook with desk. On the lower level of the home is a sauna room and an impressive games room with a bar, billiards table, dart board, gym equipment, and media area with 90” Smart TV, surround sound and lounge seating. This area has large sliding doors opening to the lawn.
KITCHEN + DINING:
The kitchen has had a full renovation, providing guests with a brand-new luxurious kitchen. Fully-equipped with a dishwasher, oven, gas cooktop, coffee machine and fabulous views for when doing the dirty dishes! The kitchen has a convenient open plan flow to the dining area, which also provides guests with gorgeous views.
THE GREAT OUTDOORS:
Guests will love the multiple outdoor living spaces. The large lake-facing balcony will surely impress with its never-ending views and there is a sheltered area at the back with an outdoor fireplace, dining table and Weber BBQ. Indulge in your own private spa pool for the perfect après ski while gazing out to the gorgeous mountains. The games room on the lower level flows out nicely to a large flat lawn, which is wonderful for children to be able to run around.

When booking this property, you are agreeing to the following TERMS AND CONDITIONS. You will also receive a full document after confirming.
- Guest(s) making a booking must be over 25 years of age. Any guests under 25 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for the duration of their stay.
- Castle Cliff Lodge is for a maximum of 12 guests, and occupancy must not be exceeded.
- A standard exit clean is included with your booking; however, you are expected to leave the property in a satisfactory state. Excessively littered and/or dirty conditions at departure will result in extended housekeeping hours being charged. This may include carpet cleaning or excessive rubbish removal for example.
- Castle Cliff Lodge is a residential dwelling and no parties or events are to be held without prior consent from the owners or Manager. Maximum guest numbers and a Venue Hire fee applies. Please enquire for Ts and Cs.
- Please be mindful that the property is located in a residential area and be courteous to your neighbours. Quiet hours are to be observed between 10pm and 7am.
- Smoking/vaping is not permitted anywhere inside the property. Smoking/vaping is allowed outside only with windows and doors shut.
- No pets or animals are permitted.
- We require a security bond of $1,000 due prior to arrival, which is held in trust until after the guests have vacated the property and a full inspection has been completed. The security bond is refunded to the guest by way of the credit card used for payment less any costs, which include but are not limited to: Excessively littered and/or dirty conditions at departure that result in extended housekeeping hours. Loss of keys, missing items, carpet cleaning, repair of damages to the property and chattels or excessive rubbish removal.
