GEORGES offers smart self contained accommodation for 5-6 guests. Designed by an acclaimed NZ architect in 1960's classic contemporary style, GEORGES has been updated recently with a modernist flair. Polished concrete floors and beige wool carpet. Sharp, stylish contemporary furniture. Paintings and sculptures from NZ contemporary artists throughout. Vintage French Chandeliers. Open-plan kitchen/dining/living is spacious - well equiped for guest entertainment. Just sink into the huge twin sofas by the fire or relax in the sunny garden conservatory with a book from GEORGES shelves. Plenty of room in the garden for children's fun. Close to the beach,The National Acquarium and boutique shopping and cafes.

We enjoyed our stay. Loved the idea that you didn’t need a key to get in the door as code worked well. Kitchen was well equipped. It was a real bonus to have a fire with plenty of wood which we keep going most of the time. The shower didn’t have the best of water flows but all in all a great place to stay. Many thanks
