One of the original Twizel Hydro Houses moved here when the town was first established we have fully renovated so you have all of the modern conveniences while staying in a piece of history. Three bedrooms are complemented by a good-sized living area and a modern kitchen, while excellent indoor/outdoor flow ensures you’ll spend plenty of time outside. The presence of a heat pump means the home remains cozy and warm even in the depths of winter.

There are cycle ways, horse riding vacilities and tracks, swimming pools, wineries, shopping, golf courses, (Kaiapoi and Pegasus golf courses) 5 minutes away. Nearby townships Kaiapoi, Rangiora and Pegasus offer first class dining with a wide variety of restaurants, cafes and pubs. This luxurious spacious studio offers a contemporary, quiet retreat with a distinctly Kiwi feel. Nestled in a fantastic neighbourhood close to the city and the hills, you'll have the best Otautahi (Christchurch) has to offer close at hand. The studio boasts a super comfortable King bed, an ensuite with generous shower, built in home office and small lounge area. The sun-drenched studio is located in the back garden of our Somerfield home. You'll have views of our newly established native garden, but still have privacy. Nespresso coffee, tea and herb tea are available in the room. There is also a small fridge and microwave. We are also well stocked with plates, bowls, glassware and cutlery if you would like to prepare basic food during your stay (leave all your dishes outside and we will replace them with clean ones). Free parking is available on the street outside our property. There is always plenty. Let us know if you would like to order a grazing platter or bottle of local wine for your stay. POA.
