The cottage sits behind, but has privacy from, the owners house. The driveway is shared however, you have your own area to park. Bring the boat! You're only 800 metres from the boat ramp. The heat-pump/air-conditioning unit will keep you comfortable all-year round. From the cottage, you are near to an estuary walkway to the famous 'Lovers Rock'. Town centre is only a couple of minutes drive, where you will find a variety of shops, cafe's and restaurants. The Flat on Winifred is right by the beach, and just a 3 minute stroll to town centre. Located on the bottom level of the house, the flat has it's own private access. There may be guests in the upstairs apartment during your stay. Only the back yard is shared with the upstairs level of the house. There are no internal stairs between the two floors. The flat offers an affordable getaway for a couple, or small family of up to 4 guests. The space There are two bedrooms, a cozy living area, plus a utility room which is a has a shower, washing machine, and kitchenette. The toilet is separate to the utility room. The kitchenette does not have full cooking facilities - however there is a jug, nespresso coffee machine, microwave, grill, fridge/freezer and BBQ. No smoking. No pets. There is a separate flat downstairs, which has it's own private access, and may be occupied by guests during your stay. Tranquility Base is a 1 bedroom plus mezzanine Pauanui bach. Situated adjacent to the Lakes Resort Golf Course, this is a cosy and laid-back base for 2-4 people. As it is a private home also, you will find books, candles and private little things that make the atmosphere, just come and relax and be just yourself! Tranquility Base has WiFi, you can enjoy open plan living downstairs and will have a peaceful outlook into nature from the deck. Cute native birds will come for a visit from time to time... We have one bedroom with a Queen bed downstairs and another Queen bed on the loft (mezzanine) upstairs. The chalet has a bathroom with vanity and shower.
