Modern,sunny two storey colonial styled holiday home.Ideal for families, girls' weekends, groups of friends or just enjoy the whole house as a couple or on your own. 2 bedrooms plus furnished sleepout.Open plan and cosy downstairs with fully equipped kitchen and comfortable dining. Double doors opening onto lockable exterior decking. Bedrooms are upstairs-the master opening to a balcony overlooking garden and stream. Master bedroom now has a king and king single and portacot available(Ask if you don't have king sheets).The second bedroom has a queen bed,and two single beds. There is also a separate sleepout with an ensuite.This has a queen bed, a king single and another single tucked away if needed. Grounds: Gentle sloping, picturesque with stream boundary and footbridge. Numerous trees,birds and shrubbery. Approximately 40 metres of sheltered decking .The grounds are private and quiet –ideal for just relaxing or as a romantic retreat. (Outdoor bath is available and you are welcome to use it but I can't guarantee the gas heating works on the day so please know this when booking and ask). Eels in our wee stream to enjoy watching. Peaceful garden setting with bridge over stream. Relax for a wine on the balcony of the master bedroom overlooking the garden-a great romantic treat! There are friendly eels in the stream that will show up if tempted. They will eat from your hands or are otherwise fun to spotlight from the bridge when dark (torches available)-children love it! Easy walking to town.Large, modern easy to use BBQ. Freeview TV in lounge,master bedroom and sleep out .

We really enjoyed our stay at Slice of Paradise! It is such a cosy home which has everything you could need and more. Loved the garden, stream & wild life (unfortunately the outdoor bath wasn't working during our stay). Very well equipped kitchen and laundry, comfy beds, good shower and plenty of space. Jude is so lovely and helpful too, I can't recommend this holiday home highly enough!

Thanks Kate for the lovely review. So pleased you had a good time and relaxing too I hope. I wasn't aware the bath wasn't kicking in but will check it tomorrow when there. Great place to stay, nice and quiet. Everything is there that you could possibly need Fire keeps you cosy and warm and comfortable beds.

Lovely, lovely spot; clean, plenty of room and just home away from home. The bush setting is simply glorious. Also a great fireplace and a decent shower, (which matters!) Hostess graciously accomodated my extra request. You couldn’t ask for a more special place to stay. We’ll be back.
