This magnificent home is ideal for enjoying a relaxing family holiday or as a corporate retreat. Best suited for 3 couples, with 3 double bedrooms (2x Super King), each with their own ensuite (One is downstairs). 2 x beds can be split into 2 singles. Separate guest toilet, two large lounges with excellent indoor outdoor flow to extensive deck area overlooking private elegant formal garden and native bush beyond the stream. Well placed for sun and shelter. Modern, well equipped kitchen. Set in a lovely English style garden complete with petanque court and native bush boundary with stream. Large flat section with easy access (suitable for elderly persons) and plenty of parking. Views to the harbour and surrounding hills. Located in a quiet part of town just down the road from Vernon Lodge it is a pleasant and easy stroll to the beach, shops, restaurants and cafes. In the cooler months of the year with the heat pump, log burner and underfloor heating you will be warm and toastie. Nikau Villa is opposite The Giants House which is a highly recommended World famous mosaic garden well worth the visit, not to be missed. Stunning short or longer tracks and walks. Go swimming with the dolphins, do the Bank Peninsula track, or the world famous Akaroa cooking school classes. Immerse yourself in French meets Kiwi culture.

Wow! Such a beautiful place to stay, so very peaceful and quiet. A short walk to the shops and beach. We loved our stay here, and we will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful, very well equipped house with plenty of space. Great location, and beautiful, serene garden made for a fabulous holiday. Would highly recommend.

Stayed on recommendation of family; didn't disappoint. Large fully equipped house slightly outside the "bustle" of Akaroa (either a pleasant walk downhill or a short drive). And I mean fully equipped; everything you need. More like your own place than a holiday rental. Outdoor features spacious manicured grounds, stream running through the back of the property, bocce court (and friendly bees). Perfect as a base for exploring the Banks Peninsular. Geoff was a delight to deal with. Can't recommend highly enough.
