Pleasant easy walks around the bay in the evenings or to the marina to watch the boats coming and going. Enjoyable walks either around the peninsula or over the hill side tracks to the town ship. Car and bike hire available from the township or just sit on the beach, book a fishing charter, scuba dive or snorkel among the rocks, test your skills on a horse trek or golf course. Go whale watching by air or sea, swim with either the seals or dolphins or delight in the many species of birds that have made Kaikoura their home.
