The Cottage consists of an open plan kitchen/lounge, 2 bedrooms (master = 1 QS, second bedroom 2 bunks = 1 double and 3 single) and 1 bathroom. The bathroom contains the laundry equipment (washer, dryer, and cleaning equipment). There is a log fire and wood is provided. There is an extensive deck area (70 m2) with outdoor dining, hooded BBQ facilities, and washing up area. The Studio with an en-suite bathroom is situated in an adjacent building. Studio kitchenette facilities: Single induction hotplate with pot, steamer, and fry-pan. Small refrigerator with an icebox. Hot water jug and toaster. Full compliment of plates, bowls, glassware, and eating utensils. Outdoor cooking is available on the hooded BBQ, with outdoor washing up bench and sink. Our studio and deck are wheelchair friendly. Bed linen is available at extra cost per person if required. A registered mooring in Cissy Bay for a vessel up to 18 metres is also available. It is professionally checked every two years. A second registered mooring (with a shore dingy and oars) in Rocky Creek, Admiralty Bay for a vessel up to 18 metres is also available. It is professionally checked every two years. There is access to a short walking track in Cissy Bay and the DoC Deep Bay Scenic Reserve is nearby in Hamilton Bay, 10 minutes drive away. There are different level walks, depending on your fitness, and ankle support boots are recommended. We have Spark, OneNZ, Skinny, and 2Degrees mobile phone signal, and there is 120 GB per month of WiFi available. The parking area allows turn around of trailer boats (up to ~6 metres), depending on the turn circle of the vehicle it may be a three point turn. There is also trailer boat parking at the bottom of the driveway. If there are no other bookings the day before or the day after your booking, then early check-in and late check-out are possible.

Brookby Ridge Cottage is self-catering for two people and is the perfect venue for some time away from the madding crowds. It has a new, fully equipped, open-plan kitchen and living room, with comfortable sofas that invite you to relax in front of the toasty-warm wood burner. Ranch sliders lead onto the east-facing deck: a great place for a sun-filled breakfast, or a glass of chilled Framingham Classic Riesling (everybody drinks Sauvignon Blanc in Marlborough, but this local winery produces some spectacular Rieslings, which we think deserve some attention!) at day's end as you watch the shadows falling across the valley. A Welcome Hamper & a delicious bottle of Marlborough wine will be gifted on your arrival. The bedroom comes with a king size bed (large double) and premium bedding, ensuring restful sleep, and an electric blanket with dual controls for those cooler nights. The ensuite bathroom is generously sized, with twin basins, a luxurious shower and those modern essentials to make your stay as comfortable as possible. For open-air cooks, we have provided a barbeque on the deck. There is an additional state-of-the-art blow-up bed (18 inches high with an overnight automatic inflating facility) should there be an extra person. Bedding will be provided for this. With plenty of local activities, we would be happy to help you plan your stay. Anything goes, from boating in the beautiful Marlborough Sounds to a guided tour of the region's lovely cellar doors; there's even an irresistible chocolate factory nearby! For fine dining, there are top restaurants and eateries, or you may just wish to curl up on the sofa with a coffee (glass of wine even!) and a good book.
